CAI International, Inc. is one of the world's leading intermodal freight container leasing and management companies. Intermodal freight containers are used to transport cargo by ship, rail, or truck and rail and are standardized to allow for interchangeability between these different modes of transport. A portion of our container fleet is owned by CAI with the balance being owned by third parties on whose behalf we manage the containers. We operate our business through two segments: container leasing and container sales. We have an international network of offices, agents, and depots to serve our clients.
